Electromagnetic flowmeter is an instrument that measures the volume flow of conductive liquids based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Its main structure includes measuring tube, electrode, excitation system, signal converter, etc. There are no parts that hinder the flow of fluid in the measuring tube, and there is almost no pressure loss; a pair of electrodes are installed on the inner wall of the measuring tube, in contact with the fluid, for detecting the induced potential; the excitation system generates a uniform magnetic field; the signal converter amplifies, converts and processes the weak electrical signals detected by the electrodes, and finally outputs a standard signal proportional to the flow rate.
When the conductive liquid flows in the measuring tube, it is equivalent to a conductor cutting the magnetic lines of force. According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, an induced electromotive force will be generated in the direction perpendicular to the flow direction, and the magnitude of the electromotive force is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid, the magnetic field strength and the inner diameter of the measuring tube. By measuring the magnitude of the induced electromotive force, the flow rate of the fluid can be obtained through calculation.

3. Easy installation and maintenance: The requirements for straight pipe sections are relatively low. Generally, only 5-10 times the pipe diameter is required upstream, and 2-5 times the pipe diameter is required downstream. The sensor has a simple structure, no moving parts, is not easy to damage, and reduces the maintenance workload; the signal converter adopts an intelligent design, with a friendly operation interface, which is convenient for parameter setting and fault diagnosis.
